Quadru-Pet 1 – Part 1 – the gutsOctober 5th, 2009
Short video showing the first part of my project to build an autonomous Quadruped robot. I converted the Phoenix Hexapod code to work with the Arduino development board and SSC-32 servo controller from LynxMotion. Only electronics and servos so far …
The following links provide further information about the kit I’m using in this video:
I’m also waiting for a custom chassis built using LynxMotion SES aluminium brackets and leg pieces to arrive in the post. When it arrives, the next part of this project is to build it up into a robot and see what happens when I switch it on!

I’m very excited to your work
can you share the phoenix hexapod source code?i want to use ssc32 based servos on the bipedal on my part time hobbies.
please send it to overload_da_brainz@yahoo.com
thanks
Hello, sorry for my bad english.
You use an Arduino Uno or Arduino Mega? Because the Uno kit don’t controller 12 servo?
I use a standard Arduino which sends serial commands to the LynxMotion SSC-32 servo controller – which can control up to 24 servo’s.
hello
can you sent me your source code please ?
i doing a same project
please send it to nassermarzougui2003@yahoo.com
I may release the code once I am satisfied it has the basic functionality I require. But this may be sometime away as I don’t have as much spare time to work on this as I would like.
However, if you do a Google Search for the Phoenix Hexapod code – you should be able to get an understanding of the IK involved with these types of 3-DOF leg.
